Cialis - Once A Day Gets OK By FDA

After a long wait the pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly has been given full Food & Drug Administration approval to sell and market a new version of the erectile dysfunction medication drug Cialis.

The difference between the present version of Cialis and this new version is that it is now available in a once daily tablet.

The idea of offering Cialis in this version is that it will enable men who suffer from erectile dysfunction to be in a position to have sex at a time of day immediately. They will no longer have to go fiddling around in their medicine cabinet when an opportunity for sexual activity presents itself.

Cialis is the second most popular erectile dysfunction medication in the world.

The popularity of Cialis is very much based on the fact that it works for so long thus getting it nicknamed "the weekend pill".

Mr. Shawn Heffern speaking on behalf of Eli Lilly in the United States said that because the men who use this Once A Day Cialis such as Viagra, manufactured by Pfizer, Levitra manufactured by Bayer Health Care and Intrinsa (a testosterone patch developed by Procter & Gamble to treat Female Sexual Dysfunction) will already have some of the drug in their system they will be more relaxed and confident when they have to perform sexually.

They will not be constantly looking at their watches to check whether the drug is effective and will be able to relax and deal with sex when the opportunity presents itself. Eli Lilly said that Cialis Once A Day drug was designed for men who are likely to have sex twice or even more weekly.
