Cialis opens arteries and makes them absorb the oxygen in the blood better.
We recently came across a case at Ukmedix News where a man is claiming that the erectile dysfunction drug Cialis actually saved his life!
The man Mr. Kelly Hice who hails from Detroit was climbing at 12,000 feet in the state of Colorado when the lack of oxygen finally got to him and he passed out. Fortunately for him he had some fellow hikers who were in good health and they managed to carry him down the mountain to the nearest hospital he was prescribed not only oxygen but also the erectile dysfunction drug Cialis.
What the doctors realized in this case and many doctors are beginning to realize is that the use of erectile dysfunction medication for people who are deprived of oxygen can sometimes be very effective. This is because it opens arteries and makes them absorb the oxygen in the blood better.
Apparently Mr. Hice was wondering if the Cialis would give him an erection but in the circumstances he had quite a few other things to worry about. The lack of oxygen to the human body can cause serious damage to all kinds of organs like the brain, the lungs and the heart.
Researchers already been done with Viagra (which works in exactly the same way Cialis) and high-altitude and it has been seen to help people to keep going for longer. Cialis doesn't work with everyone and eaten by no means a safe and tested thing to do if you are at high altitude but in emergency situations a doctor may take the risk and give you Cialis.
None of the tests done on these drugs at high-altitude have been done with the approval of the owners of the drugs namely Pfizer and Bayer and therefore their results have not been clinically and properly accepted by the scientific community. Nevertheless there's definitely an interesting line of research to be done, which should be done in order to find more uses for these incredible erectile dysfunction drugs.
