Levitra, Cialis, and Viagra: Do We Really Need More ED Medicines?

With so many Erectile Dysfunction drugs on the market, such as Levitra, Cialis, and Viagra, it’s not hard to wonder why we need them all, whether there will be more, and if there’s any point in introducing new ones to an already full market.

Apparently, the company Vivus, thinks that we do indeed need more and that they will be on hand to provide even more.
Their new Erectile Dysfunction medication, Avanafil, seems to work wonders, and they are hoping to push it as a drug that works faster than any of the competitors can manage. In a telephone interview, spokesperson Wilson stated that ‘Patients want on-demand therapy because, when the mood is right, the mood is right.’ He then went on to say that ‘We’ve shown efficacy in 30 minutes, and no one else has done that.’

However, they need a stronger selling point than just fast action, if they hope to compete with what’s already out there now.  Reports indicate that Levitra is also supposed to get to work quickly, and many users report that Viagra can work for them within half an hour too, notably on an empty stomach.  This would remove Avanafil’s unique selling point as far as the market is concerned.

Though this company hopes to bring this product to market it’s difficult to imagine this new drug achieving any large success.
