Viagra - 10 Percent Sold are Fake

The World Health Organisation estimates that eight to 10 per cent of all Viagra available globally are counterfeit

And, in the developing world that figure may one in four. Yet counterfeit Viagra, medicine can be fatal. Fakes intended for the UK and Europe can be versions of the active medicine but in different doses from those on the label and produced without quality control. One heart drug seized by EU customs last year, was found to contain brick dust coated with yellow paint and covered with furniture polish to give an authentic shine similar to Viagra. Drugs most commonly counterfeited include Viagra, Lipitor (for high cholesterol), Reductil (for weight loss), Prozac (for depression) and Valium (for anxiety). Inspect the packaging and the printing. Is it clear? Check that all the packaging seals are intact and that the Viagra medicine is within the expiry date. Always consult your doctor before taking Viagra bought from reputable pharmacies.
