Counterfeiters of Viagra have eventually faced prosecution in China.

Wang Yinliang, 47, and six other suspects were accused of running a fake and unlicensed generic viagra ring.

Wang and the gang are accused of selling 9.7 million fake and unlicensed generic drugs between the end of 2003 and August 2005.

They’ve made a huge profit of 730,000 yuan (90,000 U.S. dollars) from the illegal production and sales of fake and unlicensed generic viagra.

About 580,000 pieces of fake viagra, 10 production machines, a computer, a car, eight banking cards and cash of more than 10,000 yuan were seized at the site during the raid.
