Viagra - Loss Of Vision Report To Go On Packaging
 

Viagra, the popular impotence drug will update its label in the U.S after reports of vision loss were received from the drug users

The pharmaceutical company also assured the safety of Viagra which was brought out after 10 years of rigorous clinical study.

There was no evidence of any blindness risks according to Pfizer study.

The U.S Food and Drug Administration received 38 reports of vision loss caused by a condition called NAION [non- arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy]. But no relationship between Viagra and NAION has been established yet.

However, Pfizer agreed to include reports on label in order to inform physicians and patients regarding the vision loss misconception.
